Australian Bank Rewards Customers’ Honesty
National Australian Bank (NAB) have come up with a very clever and elaborate guerrilla marketing campaign recently, that rewards the honesty of its customers, presumably to reflect the honesty of the bank itself. The way it is executed is a planted pair of sunglasses that is left at the exit of the bank, with the intention that someone will pick up the glasses and bring them to reception. After the honest customer’s details is taken, behind the scenes a team of people create news stories, thank you cakes and photoshopped newspaper front pages with the customer’s name and photo imposed upon each.
