Instagram Reaches 100 Million Users

Speaking at the TechCrunch Disrupt Conference in San Francisco on Tuesday, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that Instagram has reached 100 million users, growing 20 million users since July. Zuckerberg has stated that he aims to help Instagram grow to several hundred million users. Facebook bought Instagram for $1 billion dollars in April, but have largely allowed Instagram to grow independently rather than rebrand the photo-sharing app.
