Social Media Used To Catch Criminal
After the San Francisco Giants’ World Series win on Sunday night, a riot broke out in the city by the bay. One particular riot was photographed smashing a city bus’s windscreen. The total amount of damage done to the bus was $700,000. A local bar shared the photo on Facebook, and encouraged its followers to do the same in order to capture the rioter, which eventually happened on Tuesday night. Gregory Tyler Granniss was arrested on felony charges of vandalism and injuring or destroying a passenger transit vehicle.
