Study Shows How Attached People Are To Smartphones

A consumer survey conducted by Vibes.com highlights how much of a relationship people have with their phones, and in particular, smartphones. 74% of smartphone owners have their phone within arm’s reach when working, perhaps underlying the importance and prominence of smartphones in business today. An interesting find is that 38% of smartphone users will have their phone with them when exercising, with 11% showering with the phone an arm’s length away. The results of the study also show how important smartphones have become when it comes to shopping; 82% of users have their phone close to hand when shopping for serving several purposes, such as conducting research on products in store, as well as comparing prices to other shops.
