Twitter have invested in improving the user experience of the site recently, by targeting the search functionality of the social media platform. Similar to Google’s auto-complete function, Twitter have added the feature which has a faded full version of the phrase or person you might be looking for as you type, as well as pop-up suggestions below. Related searches have also been added, so if you are looking for a footballer, other footballers will appear in the related searches as potential accounts you would like to visit too. Finally, the People You Follow option in the search results allows you to find past tweets from the people you follow very quickly. Although these are small changes, they do add the overall user experience and it is good to see that Twitter is still interested in enhancing its product.
