YouTube for Business: Hoopmixtape Find the Next Basketball Stars

What do current NBA stars John Wall, Derrick Rose and Brandon Jennings all have in common? Their talents were all brought to the attention of the world through Hoopmixtape, a project that creates videos showcasing the up-and-coming talent on the USA’s highschool basketball scene, with the intention of the videos to go viral. Their latest video showcases the 5’6 Aquille Carr dazzling spectators and opponents alike with incredible dribbling, passing and, most unbelievably, dunking. Hoopmixtape travel the US filming high school stars and then earn their money through a partner program with YouTube after posting the resulting mixes online. To date, Hoopmixtape videos have been viewed more than 150 million times, and the new Aquille Carr video may add substantially to that in the coming weeks.
